Description
Been looking around on the interweb and thought I might try my hand at more steampunk stuff as of late. With Adam's help I became inspired to create some raygun replicas. Although the term replica is rather insufficient in order to describe an object which never existed. The first of such raygun to come out of the laboratory is presented here.
The Tesla Rifle, Model 1891. With an oak stock and brass fittings. Toggle switches control the safety and polarity. The dial is for beam attenuation. It is a breachloader, breaking open to change out energy capsules once expended.
Weight: approx 10 lbs.
Length: 4ft.
Effective Range: 250 yards at 30,000 kilo-joules

Really nice. Many of the steampunk rayguns I´ve looked have been a little akward looking but this actually looks functional. The ergonnomics look realistic and it actually has sights or atleast something that looks like sights. Also it´s easy to imagine a sling attached to it. Really nice.
