This necklace has been crafted out of several antique sterling silver-plated forks. I call it The Flying Squid - Magnolia Edition.
Three expertly shaped antique forks are suspended from six pieces of Magnolia pattern spoon handles, all of which hangs from a sturdy chain.
Cephalopods are some of my favorite animals and I just can't help but to turn straight fork tines into tentacular experiments. Perhaps Cthulhu is influencing my work?
Whatever the case, the result is a delightful squid like recycled piece of eco-chic wearable art. A true fashion statement, This stunning neck wear is one of my favorites, hopefully it will make a great addition to your jewelry collection or costume.
Eight antique silver plated fork tines are suspended from the handle of a "Lady Densmore" pattern serving fork, to which is attached a sturdy stainless steel necklace chain. To complete the look, a pair of matching fork tine earrings are also included.
The result is a metallic octopus wriggling along your neckline. Cephalopods are some of my favorite animals and I just can't help but to turn straight tines into tentacular experiments. Perhaps Cthulhu is influencing my work?
On the other hand, this piece also reminds me of some sort of crazy steampunk rocketship blasting off into space. Either way, octopus or spacecraft, this necklace is sure to make a bold statement. Please wear it with pride.
